About Us

     The Church of Christ here at Slicer Street is a church which seeks to be centrist in mindset as we avoid extremes of conservatism and liberalism.  We cherish our heritage within the churches of Christ in the restoration movement, and we recognize also our weaknesses and shortcomings. We hold up the Scriptures as the sole source of doctrine and instruction for living, and we produce all our beliefs and practices from them. We seek to develop a love for man which reaches out to our fellow human beings with the message of the gospel.
